Cincinnati State’s Interpreter Training Program will inspire you to answer “Yes!” to all three questions!
We offer an Associate of Applied Science degree in Interpreter Training (ITP) for those who wish to become professional American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreters. The demand for ASL Interpreters is high, ASL Interpreters are highly employable.
We also offer a Deaf Studies Certificate (DSC) for professionals who work closely with deaf clients and those who wish to communicate better with deaf friends and family members.
We are very proud to introduce our new ITP Video Dictionary! There are thousands of ASL words and phrases stored in our dictionary. Please use it to view, learn, and practice ASL.
